![]() ![]() What if we started using some of their attributes with science! For example: doesn't have much to do with the slimes other than using the plorts. No random slimes will spawn but you have to invest a lot of food into breaking the Gordo.Īnother thing I'd like is to see slimes being more useful, particularly in slime science. As an alternative to the Honey Slime idea you had (wild slimes spawning in my ranch? *shudders*) What if there was a chance based on how much honey plorts was in the corral that a honey slime would turn into a Gordo? The idea being honey is sticky and gets on everything. Tabby slimes might also spawn randomly when they head the Tamer Bell? Idk just a thought. When Tabby slimes grab things they may destroy them instead. ![]() If deeper waters they'll sink right down to the bottom. Rock slimes get stressed when in pools/ponds, ect. Considering the amount of pink plorts needing for slime science, it would encourage people to either make more pink largos, have a lot of just regular pink slimes or free range the ones outside their ranch. Pink slimes will never love anything regardless of what kind of largo you make them since they will eat anything. It's almost universally agreed that chickens are not worth the effort compared to making a largo with a fruit/vegetable eater, so coops really need some love. I also feel the coops and gardens max out too early. Environmental upgrades like moss and sand to make slimes feel more at home (fits well with slime science decorations!) If an excess of Honey plorts (20 or more) are left on the floor, wild slimes may spawn. Boom slimes scare other slimes with their explosions, causing them to be agitated unless the corral is soundproofed. To avoid food waste, the rancher might try manually feeding, and avoid autofeeding or freeroaming Rads. Rad slimes quickly rot food inside their aura. They can't live in the grotto or under a solar shield (unless made into a Phosphor largo). Tangle slimes act like the opposite of Phosphors, and need sunlight. It's a shame because it feels like a whole set of mechanics are obsoleted not even halfway through the game's content. By the time you reach the ancient ruins, your ranch's corrals are fully decked out, and your health is high, so you can easily care for any slime just by swapping out the food. The later slimes are mostly differentiated by their methods of damaging the rancher. Tabby slimes escape without high walls, Phosphor slimes need the solar shield. Early in the game, the slimes have special needs for containing them.
